Bound in quarter calf, with paper over boards marbled in large spot pattern. Compartmented backs with five raised bands flanked by gilt single fillets. Red morocco labels with gilt double fillets and dotted rolls, and gilt titles: WITHERING'S / BOTANICAL / ARRANGEMENT. No volume nunbers on spines. Inserted into wrapping 2013.
Condition noted; 200209016. Hinges weak, esp. in vol. 2 where front board is partially detached. Boards rubbed, esp. at fore-edges where marbled paper frayed. Some offsetting of ink from plates. Vol. 2: N2 stained, plate VI stained and ragged at edges.

Vol.1: Edges and corners very worn and lifting; top of spine and headband broken away; bottom of spine lifting and tearing; spine very worn; front hinge broken, board held by cord and sewing; rear board cracked, beginning to split at top, held by cords; rear hinge splitting, lower section of free endpaper loose.
