NHM GENERAL - Presented by Basil H. Soulsby. 17.ix.1930.
NHM GENERAL - Bibliographical notations in pencil on front endpaper. The portrait is not identified but there is a note in French on the back flyleaf '(trad. du latin d'Ignace de Born) par Broussonet (avec son portrait)', which does not specify whose portrait it is. It is probably of Born, as it does not bear any resemblance to the portrait of Broussonet in Caille's biography (1972).
NHM GENERAL - The volume has been rebound with marbled boards and endpapers. Spine has raised bands and gold tooling. Pages have been trimmed at the top edge only.
