This and its companion volume are both bound in mottled sheep, with gilt decorations on board edges. Both are recased in tan sheep with uniform spines, divided into panels by gilt decorative borders, with gilt decorations in panels; red morocco oval medallions pasted on at tops of spines bearing gilt armorial devices (stag's head surmounted by crown); red morocco lettering-pieces with gilt decorative borders and title RURAL / RECREATIONS; gilt volume numbers two panels below. Red speckled edges.
